Colorado player just made a game winning 3 right before the buzzer against #3 Arizona....but the incompetent P12 refs waved it off. If Colorado ends up losing this game, you'll see it all over Sportcenter tonight. UNFREAKINGREAL!!!!!
DISCLAIMER: I know you're all thinking "what the devil are you doing watching this game?" Well its halftime of the Fiesta Bowl and USC basketball was scheduled to be on right now, but the game is taking forever. ESPNU if you're interested
I just saw that, I saw the first replay and turned the channel thinking it was good and the game was over. Awful call. There will be at least 3 angry fans rioting up in Boulder tonight.
refs have been helping U of A all season long, did anyone catch their game vs SDSU?
Ouch....poor Colorado. Refs have absolutely killed them in OT too.
Totally screwed Colorado!!
Nice to see Larry's brought consistency to PAC refereeing. Basketball refs screwing up as badly as football.
Didn't they help fucla against Missouri the other day as well. Pac 12 refs
Put this side-by-side with the SC vs Dayton game that they did not wave off Dayton's tying shot after a very lengthy review - almost the exact same angle. At least we won the game in OT.
The pac-12 has said that the CU / AZ call was correct, then what about our call? No consistency.
I wonder what would have happened if Boyle just told his team we aren't going to play OT and took them back into the locker room.
I just saw it. Unreal. And the Pac won't even admit to being wrong. More Larry Scott showing through.
USC 2013-2014 All Sports Head-to-Head Record: 243-107-2 (0.693)
My USC Football Attendance Streak (Home and Away): 48
No, that's how refs in winning conferences do it. SEC refs always give Bama the calls. It is great for the Pac 12 to have a top 3 team and it's great for USC that it's not UCLA.
Calls like that are the reason the Assassin went ballistic one night several years ago in the Bay Area.
As a coach, it was my 1st ever T, and then 2nd, and 3rd (#3 was only because I didn't know it was possible to get a 3rd Tech after getting tossed-oops). You could say I got my money's worth.
Are you suggesting it's okay to not win the "right way"? Or...is that the "right way"?
