Interesting, I thought that it was pretty much a closed case.
Screw the ducks. They were dancing in the aisles when we got our sanctions which were unjust. Oregon is levity cheating program with absolute ties to Nike that have made them a pay for play team for years. I don't feel sorry for them one bit. They don't deserve anything but the harshest sanctions and if they can't overcome them then tough shit. Like I said, they weren't worried about us.
I will say that Scott has been correct about dat recruitment in so many ways its not funny. He has been ridiculed on other sites for it and now that facts are surfacing, he will once again be proven correct.
Winning the academic award in the SEC is sort of like winning the special olympics. Even if you win, you are still a retard.
As much as I hate the Ducks, it would be a blow to the Conference. We need to have top 10 teams in the Conference to get respect from the voters.
Still, I'll believe it when I see it.
I usually stay away from any DAT threads, so I'm sure I missed this. Can you elaborate?:
" I will say that Scott has been correct about dat recruitment in so many ways its not funny. He has been ridiculed on other sites for it and now that facts are surfacing, he will once again be proven correct. "
I don't disagree with any of this.
I just want the NCAA to follow the same path they did with us. Just don't see how you hammer a team without a notice of allegations.
If these "rumored" sanctions are the result of the supposed summary judgment that UO and the NCAA is working on then it must have been bad for UO to sign off on it.
Beating any good team twice in a season is difficult.
I don't remember any details, but I do remember many people wondering how a player who was so dedicated to USC all of a sudden jump ship at the last minute. DAT also proclaimed that USC committed violations with him, which turned out to be a total fabrication. I have no doubt in my mind that Oregon persuaded DAT in less than honorable ways.
You remember no details because there were none. For years Trojan fans (possibly for very good reasons) screamed at the top of their lungs that people had no evidence of wrong doing by their staff. In your minds all who created their own conclusions with no evidence or proof were wrongfully convicting your beloved university and football program. Tables turned and it is suddenly okay to presume...
I'm probably in a minority on this one, but I do NOT want.
DAT had his chance and he shafted us at the last minute. He could have been a Trojan for life and he chose to take a pass.
What goes around comes around.
IF DAT was ineligible last year, Oregon will have to vacate wins. That means Larry Scott’s “championship” game was between a second place 6-6 UCLA team that lost to USC, and an Oregon team that lost to USC and will have to vacate the championship. No Pac 12 champion in the inaugural year of the Pac 12.
Yet our commissioner is unwilling to recognize USC as the South Division champion.
I like that we screwed up that game.
That's me. Full disclosure, pulled it off a board. I have no inside info
Maybe I'm missing something but I always thought it's supposed to be hard to get to the top.
In any case, if we win the south, then we play the north winner for P12 Champs. It's not up tp us to pick who that will be, but whether UO, UW or Furd, it will still be the 2nd time we will face them in 2012.
I suppose it could be OSU or WSU, but I kinda doubt it.
Yeah, my understanding is that they were going the summary disposition route. I agree with you. IF these sanctions are accurate, then things must have been really bad up there. But I'll believe the sanctions when I see them. The NCAA keeps its secrets close.
This isn't even true.
Ducks say nothing to announce, FWIW RT @BobDeal11 what's all the noise about sanctions coming soon?
Makes sense. Especially in the context of what didn't happen to tOSU, UNC, Miami, Auburn, etc.
Not that you guys don't deserve it, because you do. But USC gets special treatment reserved only for USC. UO will skate.
Your sig photo is a direct copy of one years ago, with Pete Carroll. You guys need to learn to be more original.
Also, this remark was made about RB in 2004:

"If you've got a linebacker covering him, you might as well start singing their fight song."

"Here are provided seats of meditative joy, where shall rise again the destined reign of Troy." Virgil
we deserve it?.. We didn't pay the players directly like you or auburn.
Who was the slime ball Offensive Coordinator when you guys recruited Reggie Bush? always getting caught up lies.. not very respected. Wonder whatever happened to him..
... Oh wait... that's right...
Edit: Also, Oregon has complied with the NCAA.. not tried to halter every move they make like SC did.

USC didn't pay any player either so you have no idea what you're talking about quacker.
And as for Lane Kiffin lying, didn't your coach lie about not having anything to do with Willy after he sent hand written letters to him.
Stop throwing stones at your glass house.
We didn't pay players directly either. I don't know anything about whether you deserve it, so I will reserve judgment. But don't tell us not make up shit about oregon, then clearly fabricate the truth about USC.
There is no concrete information out there regarding possible #Oregon sanctions. Just twitter and message board fodder rumors I saw/heard.
Real good journalism folks.
Epic. Post of the year material.
please get your fact straight..
