Don't see how that compares -- Iowa State is not a young team. From an article about the game: The Cyclones' starting lineup is dominated by fourth- and fifth-year players.
They may not be 4 and 5 stars, but they do have experience (and experience in bowl games, which our guys do not have)

for those who wanted the MEDIA shut off to recurits.....time to rethink ....HUMMMMMm
Nice job on the Haiti piece during halftime
TJ looks like Taylor Mays the way he takes poor angles. Geez. This team plays uninspired football taking its clues from an uninspiring head coach who shows no emotion!
I love these boys. ..
"It's what a brother would do for another brother"
Very nice piece. Proud of these young men for such a selfless act.
I really, REALLY want Chick-Fil-A ...
Join the fight for YOUR liberty!
Great piece. What wonderful experience for these young men. I hope they continue this kind of stuff. It is a great character builder. I used do medical civil action program (MEDCAP) missions in Vietnam and later in Thailand. We would go to the villages and provide medical and dental care to the villagers. Despite a war going on I found this to be one of the most rewarding experiences as a young man.

Can we actually throw to a tight end and get some yards! Also, our running backs need to get sticky glue on their gloves...way too many juggles of the ball this game. Justin Davis and Ty Isaac we need you!
Where's Irish Trojan bitching that it is a green coat.
Wow. What an incredible piece on those who made the trip to Haiti. Definitely brought a tear to my eye.
Actually took the time to soley watch the game instead of posting a shit ton like usual lol.
- Tuerk is getting blown back alot from what I see. He's a good run blocker but he just looks small out there. He needs to bulk up this off-season if the plan is to keep him at LG.
-Aundrey Walker had a false start per usual, but he's playing agressive as hell and is KILLING dudes on some run plays. O-line in general doesn't seem to have much cohesiveness, I think Kiffin's just getting the Walker/Tuerk/Martin combination ready for next year.
-Wind is definitley a factor, but Wittek is just telegraphing some passes. He needs to work on that. Still has a freakin cannon and the one scramble he had was disgusting, at least for a 6-4 240 USC QB.
-Hayes Pullard for 2013 USC MLB, although nice pick by Dawson. I feel like he'd be better suited at a LB position that doesn't force him to think as much, maybe SAM with the new DC. He's really athletic.
-T.J. McDonald is good at closing in the open field, but he gets blown the fuck back when he has to stand up and make a head on tackle...over and over again.
-GT QB (#2) is talented but he's clearly inexperienced. Broadcasters were fellaciating him and he then went on to overthrow an easy deep TD, have a delay of game penalty, then throw a pick. Wittek threw his pick, GT got the ball back and then he fumbles. We gotta exploit this guy if GT's gonna keep him in the game.
i remember that!
This MIGHT be it..
I forgot to tell you guys this. but for one of our business classes at usc, we have a case study about lane kiffin highlighting the differences between him and pete carroll, and what it takes to be an effective leader and all that sort. it was actually really interesting. even our professors are noticing the stark difference in demeanor between the two.
I agree, pullard looks very comfortable in the middle, he is a true leader too.
USC Trojans @USC_Athletics
USC LB Hayes Pullard, who started in the middle, had 10 tackles in the first half. #SunBowl
What a wonderful gesture Troybill and great example.
My son in the Air Force doing his thing like our team as well and good to see them give their voluntary time and helping others are always a reward. What a character builder!
What was the upshot?
Help A Better LA bring peace to the South LA community. Are you in?
I think lsu takes it.
And after your synopsis your grade was a........
Agreed. Dabo and his boys will hang for a little while, but it's all LSU baby.
i don't quite remember, but it was something about using some herschey blanch model and determining that situations have to fit the style of the leader, and that the leader either has to change his/her style to match the situation or vice versa. i thought that kiffin should obviously change his leadership style a bit and be more like PC instead of being so uptight all the time. when dealing with college kids, you have to be an emotional leader, as much as you have to be technical as well.
At least their not talking shit like espn.
