Yesterday, my source informed me about the coaches reviewing game film of the Michigan St defense. Well, just got word that DC Narduzzi is going to meet with both Haden and Kiffin today.Stay tuned!
By the way, Kelley we still want you!
Mike, I love it when I see you start a thread...Scott and you are the best!!

Sweet! Does Kiffin go to the UA game or head coaches not allowed thus in LA still?
I love the fact that they are putting the full court press on and are willing to pay the big $$$.
He would be a huge upgrade for the program. Love the nasty attitude his MSU D plays with.
What happened to the Ed O would be there for an interview? Is he coming back today?
Maybe Coach Orgeron and Eddie already put their stamps of approval on it.
I have meetings over the phone with east coast clients all the time, maybe Ed O dialed in?
I'm with you sister! I love this time of year!

You know it, we craaaaazy recruitniks! Love it!
Great news! Thanks mike!
Does Narduzzi know anything about stopping spread offenses?
His defense this past year held Ohio State and QB Braxton Miller to a season-low 17 points. The Buckeyes run a spread option offense under CUM. By way of comparison, Ohio State averaged 37 points for the whole season.
I should add that overall, MSU gave up an average of 16 points per game this past season (probably not all of it defensive, either, I'm sure). Had USC gave up that many points per game this past season, at a MINIMUM, they would be playing in a BCS game, and quite possibly would be playing in Miami on Monday.
Pat's defense just held TCU to half of their season average in their bowl game earlier in the week.....typically, bowl games are higher scoring, too.
I see a lot of base similarities between Pat and Banker, regarding assignments and gap control when facing read/spread offenses. What I like the most about Narduzzi, is he adjusts really well during the game...not just at halftime.
Dude just gets it done.
The 16 ppg is not accurate because the O threw a few pick 6's this year... More like 12-13 ppg..

And that's with a lot of minutes on the field.
That's why I added the parenthetical "probably not all of it defensive, either, I'm sure."
Anyway, MSU fans are worried. Besides the obligatory Kiffin bashing, they seem to think that Narduzzi is their only good recruiter and an excellent DC, who they hope to be HC (to replace Dantonio eventually).
Not trying to spread any malicious intents but USC board is clamoring about rumors of Nardawg to USC. Anyone know any truth to this or anyth
