old Russell Athletic town...did you work for them?
you work hard, you get what you deserve...don't stand there with your hand out, begging for more freebies.
No, but my wife worked fro them for 38 years. She was in the sales office and was in charge of the RAISE dept.--call center for the entire country. That building is exactly three minutes from our home. She was offered the same position in BG Kentucky for Russell Brands, but she said no thanks and took the buy-out sev and retirement package.
Lot of empty buildings here--all still belong to Fruit
They still have 390 employees here in the deco dept. which 190 were jusy let go the day after Christmas.
We dated long-distanse for a year and after going over various options, i decided to transfer here.
Got married in 1993- then retired from the Army.
She is a true "souther lady".
I Never have heard a curse word from her nor any negative talk about anyone.
I make up for her kind nature
I worked for Barfield and the crew back in the early 2000's....great place and people in Alex City....rep'd in AZ for them
was in Alex City on 9/11/01 and they took care of this new daddy, who had to drive back to AZ with airports closed....stayed at the house on campus...great place.

I was not able to get to that game, so I did not know that. I am hoping to remedy that in the future, but work has been "interesting" to say the least. MJD
So, what is the kabooom?
I was stationed in Alabama in 1964. There is some beautiful country down there. It was down there I got my first experience with "white lightning".
I have lived and practiced in Lewisburg Tennessee since 1989. I've been gone from Simi Valley and Southern California for some time but I come back for games and travel when I can. The internet and satellite TV have made it possible to stay connected in a big way. MJD
For some reason I remember that game very well too.
Good ole Lewisburg, PA. I lived there for five years lifetimes ago.
Great little town that is growing....I use to go there about twice a year when I had a client in Milton, PA.
Sorry USC Oursider, false alarm......
