That pretty badass!!
Cool looking shirt, but I'll be cheering for the cousins, despite being Catholic.
I'm praying...PRAYING for Notre Dame to win...SEC people are already insufferable, another win and you can kiss another year of sportsmanship goodbye. Ugh.
"Here are provided seats of meditative joy, where shall rise again the destined reign of Troy." Virgil
I could never root for the domers.
You don't have too...root AGAINST the SEC, and their insufferable lack of sportsmanship.

There were so many ND fans who were acting like "New Money" at the game this year, that I cannot root for them. I don't care if they were playing the Berlin Fightin' Hitlers, I am rooting against them.
They were that insufferable.
On a Georgia board..
"The Golden Domers vs. the Mobile Homers."
All the Domer fans I talked to at the game were really nice. I've seen our fans act obnoxious to ND fans in the Coliseum...taunting children to boot. That's what happens in a heated rivalry.
You just described my childhood.
I know what you're saying, unfortunately...but, believe me, I've given those fools a piece of my mind.. There was some ugly and loud taunting going on behind me, complaining that the game was "given" to ND, and that they shouldn't have won. I was embarrassed at the poor, poor sportsmanship.
It was almost expected during my childhood though, because that was during the streak. Plus there were a lot of raider fans mixed in back then.

Jimmy’s been watching you; you're just jimmy’s type
Jimmy played pretty good today
Jimmy’s got some new moves
Check out Jimmy
I'm actually rooting for the refs....
I don't want the SEC to win either, but I view them as the lesser of 2 evils.
I would not root for ND, even if my life depended on it.
You'd pick the domers over ... well, anyone? Who cares what freakin' conference they're from? It's Notre Dame for Christ's sake!
For shame, Mama L, for shame ...
Join the fight for YOUR liberty!
Jimmy's gay. Believe it.
I said over the SEC, any SEC team. I'd rather listen to the Domers talk about being back, than listen to an entire conference of fools coattailing on one program, then bragging how their entire conference invented CFB. Ugh.
Notre Dame is back?
Yes...just like we all knew they would. Trojans were the only ones saying ND would be back on the BB..and those SEC assholes were saying no way, the Irish were dead.
If the Tide win, I don't want to hear one complaint from this board about SEC bias, the media hanging on their jock (or whatever that term is..), blah, blah, blah. Because you're feeding it, and you might as well bow down to them, just like they shove down everyone's throat that it is their due.
I really thought this was a make or break year for BK, and surely he has exceeded all expectations.
Respectfully disagree. Doesn't matter who it is. I NEVER root for Notre Dame - and I mean ever. My father went there too, and I'm more loyal to USC and my disdain of all things Irish than my own blood!
Rooting for Notre Dame is completely un-Trojanlike. Turn in your card!
I guess we can dig up John McKay's ashes from the Coliseum floor...because he and I agreed 100% in our feeling for the Irish. Guess he needed to turn in his Trojan card too...
Add my lack of respect for SEC fan unsportsmanlike behavior...well, I'd cheer for any program over an SEC team. Even the bRUINS.
Have you ever been to the south? They have zero respect for USC, can't tell you how many snarky remarks I was subjected to wearing Trojan cothing (only tennis shoes I own are the Trojan Nike ID)...and just slightly more for California in particular. They think we're Godless.

I've heard some downright snarky comments from Notre Dame fans (that includes my father who I love dearly). Not really sure what that means. Respect that we have a difference in opinion, but it is a profound difference.
That being said, ROLL TIDE!
Wore SC gear every single day last summer on a vacation to Georgia -- never a snarky comment.
Also, I have to say for the record, I'm not interested in rooting AGAINST a conference. Is anyone gonna seriously suggest that the SEC hasn't performed at a high level as a whole the last 6 years? I know there's bias and all that, but still.
My point remains: NOTHING justifies rooting for Notre Dame.
You named my favorite Southern state. Try the others..and being around them a good amount of time, they get comfortable and start the talk, with this smirk about how superior their way of life is, how we're crappy fans, and no one in the country players real football like they do.
Maybe they just don't waste their time with travelers.
