Interesting take from Markazi...
== This season was supposed to be the eye of the USC storm. A legitimate run at a national title was supposed to get Kiffin through the rough waves that still loom ahead.
Things are about to get harder. USC will be losing more than Barkley, Robert Woods and T.J. McDonald after this season; they will be losing 20 more scholarships over the next two years. ==
I wouldn't be surprised if Woods left after the season but this is the first reference I have seen to him actually leaving.
I guess I missed the Memo...
Head coach has been a distraction during Trojans' difficult season.
i really don't think he does, this wasn't the right year for him
plus he was inspired by barkley and tj staying
and i think he'd want to make a better impression than this year
Probably stays at SC. Doesn't wanna get drafted on the same team as Barkely
I hope you're right!
He should go. Look what happened to one of the guys that came back ........... draft stock went
Beware, so long as you live, of judging men by their outward appearance. -- Jean de La Fontaine
Is there a reason to hold this writer in any regard whatsoever?
RW may leave but it won't be because this writer has any inkling about anything regarding USC or Robert Woods.
The writer makes no reference to anything he has asked for Haden, Kiffin, or any player. He only regurgitates some public statements.
He has no grasp on the scholarship limits either. I'm assuming I don't have to break it down to you that there's no way we would be getting 53 kids in the next two classes which then would in fact = 20 less scholarships.
Can Lee leave after this season? I would think his stock can't get any higher.
^ Lee can't leave since he's only a true sophomore.
Woods is most likely leaving (word coming from some teammates)
Lee can't cause he's only a sophomore. Woods can however. My thing is, I think Woods has been feeling neglected and tired of being overlooked by Lee on the field. So many times Barkley would rather throw into triple coverage Lee over a wide open Woods. Ironically, I think Wittek playing on Saturday could change things. If Wittek is willing to spread the ball around and show that he isn't going to use Lee as a crutch but take advantage of the defense is giving him, Woods may stay.
After some of the looks that he threw Barkley's way on Saturday, I would not be surprised to see RW head to teh NFL.
I just wish Barkley had gotten over his tunnel vision on Lee and spread the ball around like he did last year -- would have telegraphed fewer passes and resulted in fewer INTs.
I hate you for making me chuckle at such a back hand comment...
I sure hope he stays! I'd hate for him to go out the way he did but then again the frustration from this yr migh push him to go! Damn this ur sucked in so many dif ways
If your not 1st your last!
The scholarship limit is at 75 for the next two years (just like this year). Things are going to stay the same on that front.
I hope so..for his sake. He has to have read all that shit on his page and "fans" trash talking their disappointment. Leave Woody..be happy and don't look back.
Let them all leave early, and think of themselves first before any of the shrills in the stands that don't know the meaning of the word loyalty. All these players can come back and get their degrees later.

Typical that you clowns think that's funny...after Matt announced he would stay, this board was euphoric. Well, Matt took his chances, and you people crapped on that mistake.
That WAS NOT FUNNY.
I hope he stays, but it wouldn't surprise me if he moves around. Being an All American decoy is not the business.
What sanctions? Our 75 are better than your 85.
Would be a mistake not to leave. 1st year QB, would be hard to help his Draft stock any more after one more season.. Like MB.
Thank you. It's truly sickening that our "fans" are trashing two of the best kids we've ever had. Especially those leaving comments on twitter/Facebook.
Everyone here who comes with alleged sources on the team says he is leaving, and I think that says a lot. I think the only way he stays is his draft stock already being severely dropped, which I think it should be without knowledge of the senior/declaring WR corps this year. Sure, Barkley has been prone to forcing it to Lee, but in the games I've been watching, all but Syracuse from a TV set or computer screen, Woods hasn't been ignored per se. Perhaps he hasn't gotten separation this year? I love Woods, he's a real man and a great Trojan, but I think his injury has hobbled him more than we'd like to admit (ah, how mortal we are!) and that he isn't the RW2 of last year, to be sure. Who knows. Would he be able to have a Pro Day before he declares? I think Woods will be a tremendous asset for any team that drafts him, but Steve Smith isn't doing much these days and the two remind me a lot of each other. How long did Smith have in the league? 3 seasons?

Yes, that was a Markazi quote, not mine. I am fully aware of the scholarship situation...
15 max signee's 75 total on the roster. Markazi's math was right just not his context...
I hope he stays. Would he get more exposure next year? If so, would that, in turn, make his draft stock rise?
Rumors have it he is headed to Ohio State.
I think Steve smith led the nfl in receptions one year and then got hurt...
