that's what I was thinking. Coach O wants him to RS, but Kennard wants to come back and play sometime in November. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
I saw a tweet (forgot from who), saying Lamar Dawson told them he was expecting to play tomorrow. The tweet was yesterday.
Thats the quote Wolfe printed as well. Will be interesting to see if he does play. My .02 is to hold him until he is healed and ready for conference play. JMO,
I wouldn't be surprised if he did because he was walking fine in class and didn't seem to limp or be in any sort of pain. but then again, he hasn't practiced as much recently and Sarao has looked great out there so I don't think we need him back so soon if he isn't fully healthy.
Just checked and Pedro Moura was the guy who tweeted the tweet I was thinking of. So take that for what it's worth, I suppose. I don't know the severity of Dawson's injury, so if it's still questionable I agree with you (move Pullard to MLB, put in Sarao). Maybe I'm thinking Kiffin has been more calculating than he actually is, but I just get the feeling he was sitting guys some days they didn't have to be (when injury reports were ok), to give the impression that they're not as healthy as they really are. On the one hand, some people might think that's stupid, because the guys need the practice, but on the other hand, some players sitting gave more reps to the guys we'll need for depth.
I don't know how much, if any of that is true, but I guarantee that Lane knows opposing coaches are going to be sitting there doing the exact same thing you're doing right now.
Remember his stance on running the 2pt conversions so much at the beginning of his first year? How if he could make them prepare for it every week, it would take away from their prep in another area. He clearly looks at things in a different way than most.
