When I hear people describe Cody's game it reminds me of how Russell Wilson plays. Undersized, Real athletic QB, but not nescessarily a running QB. Can make plays with his feet if need be,, elusive,, can keep plays alive. Also good in the pocket.A flatout playmaker,, a natural leader. Is it a fair assessment, or am I way off here???
From what I've read, it seems to be an accurate description, other than the undersized part. Isn't he 6'2 (Barkley's height)? Wilson is like 5'11, I believe.
Only if Wittek is our Matthew Stafford.

I think Wilson also has a stronger arm. Cody and the guys would do very well to emulate Russell's work ethic though (it's become legendary already). He breaks down film on the plane after a game and after they get home. By the next morning, he's put notes in the receivers' lockers with breakdowns of their next opponent, things they can work on, etc.

Kessler our Russell Wilson? We should be so lucky! Fight on CK6!

He is not that athletic IMO.
But I hope so.
Wilson has a much stronger arm...his arm is stronger than Barkley's.
Cody isn't like Russell Wilson imo. Cody's a great natural athlete but Wilson is much more agile, quick/elusive, stout, and faster. I'm not very good with comparisons but from what I've seen he's more Jake Plummer athletically speaking (with matt leinart's decision making). Jake was a gamer as well, but just a few steps below Wilson athletically.

Cody is pretty damn athletic but not as elusive as Wilson like others have mentioned. Cody also has a weaker arm. He's also taller at 6'2. 100% sure he's 6'2 so we can put the height issue to rest.
This is what i heard as well,
Dan Webber from TOS-r said Cody was Dunking a basketball in the 8th grade, and he may have a weaker arm compared to Wittek, but out of the last 3-4 Practices didn't he have at least 1 or 2 50+ yard throws?
This is just my thought, but Cody will be the starter, and Lane and the coaches didn't/don't want to name a True Starter for the chance that a player might leave, that and Wittek is still competing with Cody.
I may be wrong but I don't think a starter will be named until the season begins.
Scott has said on the board that Cody is 6'3" tall.
Russell Wilson is in a class by himself.
Cody is not a Russell as far as making things happen scrambling but ... moves out of the pocket well away from pressure. Cody has a real calmness about him that enables him to perform well under duress and the players around him seem to respond well to Cody's leadership qualities.
Cody can make those around him play better.
