The Big 10 conference agreed to stop scheduling division I-AA/FCS teams.
Great move by them, I wish we would do the same.
They have to cause they won't get away with that shit under the new playoff system.
I believe we have never played a 1-AA team. bRuins either. I believe there's only one other team, but I can't think of them.
Notre Dame is the other team.
Very impressed by the Big 10s move. SEC, are you paying attention?!?

ESPN: SEC pledges to DOUBLE I-AA / FCS games to make up for the Big 10 abandoning these poor schools.
But their conference is so difficult that they have to have these types of breaks in their schedule

I think they are......and unfortunately, don't care....
Good move by the Big 10. And more importantly.....the Big 10 will have a loud voice in how the selection committee works and this move could be a signal that the committee will heavily weight not only strength of schedule, but also OOC strength of schedule. Good for USC.

I think it was Washington and I'm pretty sure whoever they were broke their streak this season. It's down to us and the fuglies.
It's actually our two rivals and us...USC, UCLA and Notre Dame have never played a 1-AA team.
We are the last man standing to never have names on the back of our jerseys though...
Since a 2005 rule change, Pac-10 leads push to schedule FBS vs. FCS matchups, often easy wins for big schools and easy cash for small ones.

Truth with a capital "T."
Washington used to be on the list, but they took themselves off of it in 2011 when they scheduled Eastern Washington.
Also, Penn State was right with USC with no names on the back the jerseys, but they eventually succumbed and "modernized" their uniforms this past season.
I listened to Cowerd this morning. He went after the SEC and said they should be next. He stated that Alabama had a trash of a schedule. They did not play FL or GA and played 7 home games which included LSU. The SEC should stop packing their schedule with so many FCS teams. It is disgraceful.
