I've met him and Crawford a bunch of times....they are 2 of the coolest athletes EVER....far from thugs (Matt Barnes). My guess is has the captain of the team, he has to show that he has his teammates backs no matter what the situation is.
-I'm assuming that you've met Kemp(I've never heard anything about Crawford) in social settings or a Pro-dodger event, if it's not social. There would be no reason for him to act aggressive with you, in this setting.
-I was told from someone who has competed with the guy since they came into the league.
-I said "He thinks he's a thug and tries to intimidate other players". He may not be a thug, but he tries to act like one out there.
-As a team captain(not even confirmed. Sounds like a guess on your part), your job is to do what's necessary, I agree. What he did was make the situation worse when he got there.
It was his chance to do what he wanted to do after he was almost hit earlier in the game and he took it.
Edit: Just checked and Kemp is the "OF Captain".

That's a thug if I've ever seen one. Let me guess, he knew the one guy was secretly recording him, amirite?
Matt Kemp is sucha great person. He came over after the game and made one of my best friends night :) he's fighting a tough battle and this was sucha great gift by Matt Kemp ! I'll never forget this.
Great video. ESPN ran it this morning (maybe before that too - I just saw it today). Kemp is class; maybe he went over board, but every time one of his players gets punked, he goes over board after the other team. At least he is consistently on the side of protecting his team. I love his fire and aggressiveness.
