I've heard from other sites that Monte has changed his mind and resubmitted his résumé. At this time apparently according to those sources he is far and away the leading candidate. I hear he runs the Tampa 2.
Down vote? Too funny. No sense of humor around here.
It's a down vote party

The only thing buried around here is your head in that moist warm dark area between your legs that smells like shit. "New" posters that come on these boards a guns-a-blazing fall into two categories;
1) troll/sock puppet
2) previously banned poster
You fit both.
Like I said, your stay will be a short one.
Never mind that your OP in this thread is beyond stupid. Carry on, Perry.
Pretty bold statement.
You're hilarious. Big tough internet guy. Yawn.
Now that you've pissed on the side of this message board to assert your dominance in the sand box, can we just get back to an actual discussion of USC football. Or would Herr Warrior like to continue stating with absolute certainty what is essentially no more than opinion?
this troll act is so transparent...and it actually bought a membership! good for Scott bad for us I guess...
Edit: it probably is using a free trial. everyone loses.

Looks like the troll got caught up in it's own net....Happens every time.
My opinion = Me right...you wrong.
No...the troll will eventually reveal itself. It always does...it's part of the DNA.
"Herr Warrior"......That is funny in a very weird way....you know what I mean, Marc.
Troll or not, why not continue a discussion on our next DC?
The last page has been unreadable.
Is Banker officially out?
Banker better not be out. He is my number 1 choice by far. And I have a lot of say in this hiring lol.
Unreadable? Is it due to poor grammar or spelling?
Oh goody....page 3 might be better than 2....
LOL...the grammar, spelling, syntax and overall content around here, is dying a quick death for some reason.
Now...back to your regularly scheduled Troll ass-kicking(s)
DNA starting to reveal itself?
Merry Xmas, A!!!
Same here. Banker seems to have the attacking mentality we have been missing.
I heard he is a dud (From OSU sites) on the recruiting trailer though?
Man, I hope you are wrong. Dwayne Walker is not the answer.
As for the whole *deep sigh* troll discussion, not much I can say apparently. Verdict is in. Truth is I'm a USC grad, season ticket holder, travel to many away games including almost every bowl for years. But apparently my opinions/outlook don't fit well here. So I guess we will just label and disparage.
A message board with tolerance for only one point of view/opinion is not much of a message board.
IMO, the issue was not the scheme of Monte but rather the conservative approach of Monte.
Fans and posters on here want a more "attacking" defense which Monte did not give them this season as he did at the end of last season.
OK, push Monte out and bring in an attacking DC.
Now, let's see what the results are?
It does not matter IMO if a 4 - 3, 3 - 4, 2 - 5 or 5 -2 are used.
Will the DC "attack" enough to satisfy everybody?
Will the attacking defense bring down the spread, option offenses usual game tally of 50 points?
I really hope the results are what everyone seems to be expecting.
If USC scores 50 points on Arizona or Oregon and losses next season then I guess the answer is not a significant change.
If a DC is hired who cannot limit the Oregon offenses to 14 points like Stanford did this year than I think all this drama of changing the DC will be for unacceptable results.
Stanford had 5 defenders on the All Pac 12 first two defensive teams.
Banker had 48 points put on his D by Oregon.
I don't buy his defenders were inferior to USC defensive players.
So, I see Banker as a lateral move.
What DC has held Oregon to 14 points or less like Stanford did this season?
Hire that guy.

It took less than 2 weeks. LMAO!!!
I caught that too.
Florida Trojan and his nazi loving ways....he's not worth the ground TW walks on.

"Here are provided seats of meditative joy, where shall rise again the destined reign of Troy." Virgil
That Stanford defense, with the same DC, gave up 53 points to Oregon last year. that D also gave up 41 points to another fast paced offense, Okie State.
This year's Stanford D was very stout, which probably speaks more to the players they have and their development that any particular defensive scheme.
I don't see why latching on to a single, fairly arbitrary data point, is the way to go. We don't need to keep Oregon to 14 points. If we had kept them to 42 points this year we would have won. All we need is for a defense to get some stops, especially in critical situations like 3rd downs. We do that this year our results would have looked very very different.
Find me a guy with a good 3rd down defense. That's the guy I want.
"Godwin's law states: 'As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.' In other words, Godwin observed that, given enough time, in any online discussion—regardless of topic or scope—someone inevitably makes a comparison to Hitler or the Nazis." [Reference: Wikipedia]
My empirical corollary is that the higher the desperation of the poster and the smaller his/her mind, the faster the predicted result is reached.
I knew SCounselor wouldn't let us down.
Eh, why bother.
