"If this was a prize fight they'd call it off"- F ND!
Remember what happened to the 1st commit we had last year? His name was KB....fight on
What does that mean? He is a trojan and is committed to not visiting anywhere else.
This is the fourth commit for the recruiting class.
Ladies and gentlemen - we have a nose tackle.
Cry Havoc; and let slip the dogs of war!
Yea true that...sorry
Tough to say. A lot of the highlights in his junior year film showed him being disruptive in 1 vs 1 battles. I didnt see a lot of double team attempts from the offense though, which is the deciding factor here. He's versatile too, which is a plus. He lined up at end a couple of times in his highlight film.
6'1 and 280 as a junior. He's a NT.
Doesnt mean anything at this point. Where he is a year and a half from now will be the most telling where he'll play. However, to be an effective NT in a 30 front defense, he'll have to be at least 40-50 lbs heavier, as he'll be facing a double team every play.
He might be better off for us playing the end on our 3 man line. He could be a bigger specimen like Haloti Ngata is for the Ravens. Idk. We still have a year and a half to go before he gets here. lol
If your standard for playing NT on a 6'1 frame is 320 - 330lbs at the college level then you can pretty much forget about playing a 3-4.
Look at his physique. He's a NT.
As far as playing time, it'll more than likely be 2.5 years before Smallwood, gets Big Wood.
Good one. Funny!
N.B. I think I inadvertently tagged you with a down vote when mousing toward the quote button.
Sorry, ! will atone on other threads.
That timeline, or longer, is true for almost every freshman who will sign with any team anywhere this year.
