I had to stop watching...
"Here are provided seats of meditative joy, where shall rise again the destined reign of Troy." Virgil
I hope he lands somewhere that treats him right. That kind of guy whether he is a college football coach or not deserves the best because he's right, he does do it the right way.
My God CU should be ashamed. This man came in intent on building something and the administration shits all over him.
SHAME on CU and their AD
FIGHT ON to Coach Embree

When you take over for a coach that went 5-7 and then got fired, going 3-9 and then 1-11 isn't going to make people want to keep you around awhile.
If Kiffin got fired and USC brought some guy in that went 5-7 next year and then 3-9 in 2014, I don't think too many people would be wanting him back for a 3rd year.
Colorado's AD is a joke. Starts with him.
They are going to have a hell of a time finding a decent coach. They've pretty much set precedent of a two year time clock for coaches. Who in their right mind would want to come in to that kind of job uncertainty. They're gonna need to put up $6 million to pay a quality coaching staff. No chance in hell they can get away with paying a coach $750k a year. Better start tapping into the marijuana dispensary money.
I say screw the P12...SC should leave and join the BIG 12. P12 has done absolutely NOTHING to support or protect their flagship program...lets see how the P12 fares in the next decade without SC.

I wouldn't want us in any conference that has Texas in it...talk about a nightmare of egotistical, entitled fools!
Of the schools mentioned I think CU & Utah are the only two schools with the potential to STEP IT UP to P12 standards. At least, that's how it seems to me.
USC Track & Field:
29 NCAA Titles | 1020 All-Americans | 184 Olympians
This. Denver metro area aside, UC athletics have a very small following and they aren't competitive at anything. I thought Utah was a stretch and I live there, Colorado was another Washington State.
Didn't CU win the conference in basketball last year?
yeah, football has been down but traditionally, they have been good. They will get better with a decent coach and some time to recruit in CA
It's ll about TV households, because today CFB is all about money.
CU is down now, but not too very long ago they challenged for B12 hardware under Slick Rick and a couple of good years with Barnett. When they challenge, regional people tune in. (Not unlike USC, but in a much bigger media market.) When CU doesn't show face, Denver is a Broncos town and Colorado 's team colors are orange and blue.
They've made horrible coaching moves for a while now with Hawkins and Embree, but the cycle grows shorter and shorter. Embree got shafted there (2 years), but no one would survive at SC with his record. Hell, Lanes' at 67% under sanctions and peeps want him canned. Embree is at 16%. Get real.
The water thing is chicken-shyte, fo' sho'. No class.
