Our future at RB is looking good if 40 times can equal success..
Dude ran a 4.3
WORLD FAMOUS 55 CREW
I can guarantee you he did not run a 4.3 forty. Some of you are totally clueless how fast that is. That is still world-class speed. Lmao
What I was told by players who also ran.
We hear it every year. No way did he run a 4.3 forty. U can take some random teammate for it or some random dude I don't know. I will go to Vegas, bet my net worth which is far greater than yours, that he would never run a 4.3 forty. I am sure you would agree with me?? Scott
Gee Scott, a little brutal no?
For what it is worth, i would not put it past this S&C staff to do "miracles" with our players. We have a very unique set of guys on board that have bought into bettering themselves as people and as football players. Do I believe that he ran a 4.3? No. But do i believe he ran a surprisingly great time (4.4 to 4.6 range)? yes.

General rule of thumb is that those times are usually 2 tenths faster than say the NFL combine method
For instance, Lamar Miller ran a 4.4 at the combine, and he was the fastest RB there
As another frame of reference. i believe Chauncey was timed in 4.35 at USC
If he was REALLY that fast, he would be a starting, Pro Bowl type player, instead of a journeyman, just hanging on
Scott like myself gets tired of these kids hand times while at college. Urban meyer had a speed board at florida and had 6 or 7 kids who ran in the 4.2s. Now fast forward to the combine and none of those kids ran faster than 4.4.
I doubt he runs a 4.3, but make no mistake about it, Buck can move and he has very solid hands. Start out at the 2:30 mark in the link.
Tallahassee All-Stars 7 on 7 Group 2 - February and March Practice Highlights Buck Allen, Trey Norris,William Davis, Cason Knight, Daniel Jones, Eric Brown, Will Davis QB's Clint Trickett, Ryan White All Videos on this site were created for...
If he had a QB that could get the ball there, he'd have been gone on every play. Can't wait to see him run wheel routes out of the backfield with MB7 throwing to him. No LB in the country will be able to keep up with him.
"there is the SEC, and then there is USC." - Marcus Allen, 11-26-11
Whatever his time was, it was the second fastest of those who ran and just behind GF.
Impressive regardless of what he actually ran. Do you know who were the top guys besides GF and Buck? and do we know how much he's weighing nowawadays?
Is this from some site?
Screw you guys, I ran a 4.2 yesterday, with beer in hand.
Impressive DF, I'll play one-upper, 4.10, with 6 beers in belly, so as you can guess, thats a 4.1 without even running a straight line. Kind of a zigzag, and I'm assuming that means 4 minutes 10 seconds.
Can wait to heard about Buck performances in spring.
Now we're talkin some real skill!
I bet that time comes down a bit if Chippy is chasing you.
It's not really harsh. Reggie Bush ran a 4.35 at the NFL combine and he's much, much faster than Buck.
I will bet my net worth that DF1982 did in fact have a beer in hand yesterday.
More importantly, did you spill any of the beer?
Impressive if he did. I believe each confirmed spill adds 0.2 seconds to your official time. It happened to Nick Perry this year, and Mays two years ago.
Did you spill any? Thats the real question.
You should have doubled down and leveraged your mortgage.
And spilling your beer is a felony, punishment is death by date with Rosie ODonnel.
yup, Buck sort of reminds me of Bradford: known as a power back and didn't have a whole lot of moves, but pretty good straight ahead speed. At least thats what I saw in his highlight tape
Can't put a lot of stock in hand timed fortys. Depending on who was working the watch, could easily be a half second variable in every single time...

Hahaha. Good ole Scott
Iamstevenlopez, i gotta ask. who is that in your signature pic????
