Some dumbass Jet fan has tweeted death threats to Mark.
Geez, some people just take sports WAY too seriously.
I'm glad for McCoy, he's a stud.

New York Times weighs in....ouch!
It would also be nice if Rex Ryan would draft some offensive help.
Since the 2009 draft where they took Sanchez, the Jets have NOT drafted a offensive player in the 1st round. I know he's a D coach and wants to use his high picks for his D but come on, give Sanchez SOME help.
2010: 1 Offensive player in the 1st 3 rounds.
2011: 1 Offensive player in the 1st 4 rounds.
2012: 1 Offensive player in the 1st 5 rounds.
They may not have drafted offensive skill players, but they sure as hell brought them as free agents. Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards, LT, Thomas Jones. Come on, stop making excuses for him. When the Jets got to the AFC title games it was because of defense and a strong running game. When they needed him to raise his game the past couple of seasons he hasn't been able to do it. He was a pretty average QB then, and hes' a pretty average QB now. It's funny that some think he can step into a system like New England's, where everything is put on the QB, when he has never shown that ability.
Lol this is the exact point!!!!!
Zero help in the draft and you just named his biggest help in free agency!!!
Breaking down those 4 players and their time with Sanchez.
His biggest help the Jets got? Santonio Holmes, a MASSIVE clubhouse cancer.
He was the Steelers Super Bowl MVP yet they could only get a 5th round pick for him. (Theres a reason for that) NFL is a team sport, and he was the biggest cancer in the NFL. THAT is your best offensive help? Jets had no choice but to let this cancer run wild because they had nobody else, NOBODY.
Braylon Edwards, solid pick up and Sanchez played well when he was on the team his 1st 2 years. No Braylon these last 2 years.
Thomas Jones, played with Sanchez his rookie year when Sanchez had a overall solid rookie year. No Jones these last 2 years.
LT? Are we talking about the best running back in the NFL from 2002 - 2007?
Or the washed up old man on the Jets from 2010 - 2011? Which one?
So lets recap. Sanchez 1st 2 years overall were solid. Throw in some big time playoff heroics and he had a GOOD 1st 2 years in he NFL.
Again, this is about his last 2 shitty years. Who did he have these past 2 years? WHO?
Your big draft or FA pick ups to help these 2 years...
Santonio was GONE 1 of 2 years, and the 1 year he was the biggest cancer in the NFL
LT washed up and DONE.
Thomas Jones GONE
Next thing ill hear is how Sanchez had the great Plexiglass Burress to help!!!
What a disaster that front office is!!
With this line of thinking then teams like the Eagles, Jaguars, Titans and others should be burning up the Jets phone lines trying to arrange a trade for Sanchez since it was all the front office's fault and he didn't have any help. I mean it's obvious that all he needs is a change of scenery, and not that he is a below average QB who was carried by his defense his first 2 years.
Brutal game indeed. And now the jets are looking to shop sanchez around.
It looks like Sanchez is just not good. Maybe playing another year of college ball would have helped him. Funny he disagreed with being benched, he threw numerous picks, and he disagrees with being benched? Makes him look like a dumb ass.
I like Sanchie, but proof is in the pudding, he sux as an nfl QB.
You are exactly correct!
Yes there are other teams interested in Mark.
Alot of teams need solid back-ups and that is what Mark will be. Nobody is saying he is the Mannings, Luck, RG3, Brady etc. Hes not a top 10 NFL QB that can carry his team. His 1st 2 years when he made clutch play after clutch play on the ROAD in the playoffs, he was still a average/below average NFL STARTING QB. Thats what he was. but he was CLUTCH and was able to win the big game on the road in the 4th Qtr. A team built around running and good D, thats where Sanchez needs to go. Very good game manager that can make the important throw. Thats what he was his 1st 2 years.
Now that any kind of running game, OLine help, and WRs are gone? He is pushing, forcing and playing like shit for 2 years.
He'll go to another team and be a fringe good back-up QB/below average starting QB since any team in the NFL, yes ANY team in the NFL will have better WR talent, better running game and probably a better OLine then the Jets. I dont think anyone would argue that.
He'll be in the NFL a long time. Making $8 Mil per year? Hell no! but 1.5 - 3 per year? No doubt!
Most NFL teams carry 3 NFL QBs, here is a list of a few #2s to start the year.
Kellen Clemens (yes, the guy that lost his starting spot to Sanchez is a #2)
Brady Quinn (now a starter, kind of)
Sanchez will be in the NFL a long time, teams need QBs!
The entire league is going away from that, and San Fran and Seattle already have QB's.
Like I said though, I would be happy with him as a backup in GB.
Harrell is GBs back up right now right?
Im guessing teams like GB that have ZERO hope in the back-up QB dept would be willing to throw the Jets a draft pick or 2 to get Sanchez on board.
If I were Ted Thompson I would offer a 7th round pick, and offer to pay $1.5 of his guaranteed $8 million still owed.
The problem with trying to trade for Sanchez, is teams know at some point the Jets will have to cut him.
Why would anyone beat a path to make a deal with the Jets?? Answer: no reason. They will cut Tebow and Sanchize before this is over. What they need to do is fire Mike Tannenbaum and Rex "big mouth" Ryan. It's obvious Mark doesn't handle pressure well and has been trying to do too much. Weak organization causes lots of problems. Look at who they drafted as oline help...the bust from Boston College (Vladmir DuCasse). I heard Kurt Warner saying the same thing this moring on Sirius XM radio. Who have the Jets provided as weapons for Mark? Nobody. Who do the Saints get for Breese...a ton of guys. And try actually hiring a decent offensive coordinator. Sporano...nope;
As long as Woody "the star f*cker" Johnson is writing the checks, outlook is not good for the Jets...
Well Mark Did manage to take the same
team farther than Brett Favre did. He also threw 9 TD passes and only 3 Int in his playoff games, which included 4 playoff road wins, second only to Eli Manning I believe. So I think Mark deserves some credit for taking the Jets to back to back AFC CG's.
That being said, Mark clearly needs a fresh start, but I don't know if he can recover from this. Arizona would be a good fit, but Whisenhunt would have to get fired first because he wouldn't want another SC guy after Leinart.
