RT @nfldraftscout: Text I received from a scout this morning: Matt Barkley will not get past the Arizona #Cardinals at No. 7 overall.

Happy for him. He deserves it
RT @PSchrags: Can "confirm" @nfldraftscout 's positive chatter on Barkley. Multiple teams were left very impressed in their meetings w/ him.

I'm always blown away by how well spoken Barkley is. Seems like he says all the right things and looks comfortable doing it.
Matt looks good in "CARDINAL"(s) - and only an hour away? -- not bad. MB going in the top 10 - awesome.
I seem to remember rooting for the Cardinals a few years back......even though the Bidwell family makes it tough to $upport that organization, I'm sure we'd all be closet AZ fans.
I hope that he fares better with the Cardinals than another Matt from Mater Dei.
I just laugh when I look at mock drafts and don't see MB7's name listed. Sure, he had a rough season last year, but you cannot discount the lackluster O-Line play or how well he did play in 2011. People are too in the immediate now to look at the overall picture. Barkley is going to be a good NFL QB. He may not be Andrew Luck, but he is going to be good.
And the good thing, if he goes to Arizona, is that they have a new staff. The worst thing that happened to Leinart, outside of his lack of preparation, was Dennis Green getting fired after Matt's rookie season. The new staff had no investment in Matt or reason to play him over Warner (other than salary).
I don't wish Az on Matt. I'm a Cardinal's fan....those fans HATE USC. Matt won't stand a chance.

Go to Minnesota, Matt. I know it won't happen, but Ponder has to go!
I think the Denver Broncos are the best team for Matt Barkley. He can learn from Peyton Manning and be the starter after Peyton Manning retires in three or four years. The same thing worked well with Aaron Rodgers. Not having a redshirt year I think did not help Matt Barkley. Learning from Peyton Manning and John Elway will help.
Their project qb/Peyton protege is Brock osweiler.
I agree w/ others and don't want him going to the cards.
Huh? I'm sure if he produces, they'll love em, that's how it's always been.
Think we can say that for any young QB
Ok then, why is the fan base anti sc?
Deja vu like mofo
U of A/ASU fans?
Baring anything strange, i think like Peter King mentioned,
Barkley is going to have a stronger Arm after the rehab, Love that Barkley is attacking this Combine,
and throwing to Woods on his Pro-Day will turn a lot of heads that day.

Im an Arizona Cardinal fan
Sounds like good news to me. Just hope they fix the O Line or Barkley will take even more shots than last season
