Looks like you are going to take your talents elsewhere, thats unfortunate because we love your game, and you have friends from your high school on our team but know that we will take great pride in beating you year after year. Enjoy South Bend or my guess, Eugene. I hope you get the most out of your college experience and we'll see you on the field young man.

Kenny fucking Bigelow.
Kenny Bigelow @4_Fighton_0
@gmartlive that's good makes room for someone who truly is proud if the #Trojan name #FightOn
I really like Max for having integrity. Best of luck to him in life
I love this class .
What's the over under (days) for someone to take his spot?
Hopefully Adams after Thanksgiving ;)
Good luck to him. Unfortunate because this team needs all the athletes we can get on defense. Especially great ones like him in our own back yard.
Did he offer any reasons for decommitting?
Any chance he did it just so he could take visits to programs that don't extend visits to already committed players?
Yes, so he could visit Oregon.
Did the staff give him a "Texas" ultimatum?

Any chance Mcquay or Goodman jump on the open spot.
No sour grapes, but this is good news. Come on down Jermaine Kelley,Goodman or McQuay.Oh well, one of them is already in.
Max has been good as gone for months but no need for sour grapes. Max is a stand up guy and he's going with his heart here. I tried my best to get in his ear. Ha
You know Redfield personally?
Yeah, I've been trying to get the board ready because I knew he was decommitting this week.
Bring on Leon Mcquay III.
What's not to love about a unanimous top 3 safety nationally, that brings a 4.0+ GPA and wants to be a Trojan? I don't see how this wouldn't be an upgrade.
I wouldn't be surprised to hear McQuay commit soon, he wanted to in July but Torrodney took the last spot. Come on down Leon, we'll gladly welcome you to the Trojan family!

Get the board ready for what? I don't think anybody was ever going to trip if he decommitted. Don't get me wrong, Max is legit, but so is Goodman, McQuay, and Willis.
No offense, but losing Max to competition is a huge loss. Not taking a nothing away from McQuay or Goodman but Max is the best safety in the nation.
I know you're vouching for your guy, but opinions vary. As far as him being a huge loss, meh. Losing Bigs or Vanderdoes would be a huge loss, this...not so much.
Will Max still consider USC????
Hard to say. As long as Brian Kelly is at ND I wouldn't bet on a switch back. He also has legitimate interest in Oregon.
Maybe to you, but I know to myself and many others, the best safety in the nation is the one who commits to USC, sticks with it, and WANTS to be a Trojan through thick and thin whether he is a two star or a five star. Plus the best safety in the nation means nothing on the college level because everyone has a clean slate. Either way, McQuay is legit and on the same level as Max, if not better. A lot of guys on this board have been wanting McQuay.
I don't feel good about any kids who commit then de-commit, especially to a rival. He's "dead" to me like DAT is. Can't stand these waffling 18 year olds who could come here and make us great, yet they choose to go to our rivals.
I won't deny how good he is now because of this. Mcquay is great and I would love for him to become a Trojan but..... Can he also be an option at WR like Redfield?
Let's not kid ourselves, this hurts.
SC doesn't need more WR
