I'd rather he stay at no stars and come in to USC and prove to everyone how good he is. Gotta love those stories when a player is rated very low and becomes an all-American (btw not saying he will, just saying)

How can anyone be a late bloomer, when they haven't played their Senior Season of HS and mentally plus physically players get so much better? I believe there will be quite a few players that go up once the games begin.

He was great and coaches were all over him. He is a bit raw but fast and fearless. However if ever offered by USC it will be late in the process once other targets fall through the cracks. He had played receiver all spring long that's why he was under the radar

I agree. If he goes to RSC and puts on a similar performance, I think he'll get offered.
What sanctions? Our 75 are better than your 85.

There is alot involved to just getting a offer from USC, game tape is a major factor. Not just doing one on ones. To be specific USC doesn't even play man defense so the ability to play cover two scheme. I hope he gets the offer but I also no that he will commit on the spot just like Mitchell. They are only taking two corners so with Hawkins already committed that would rule out any possible out of state kids, remember Scott said Makenzie Alexander will be at the RSC also. Still have outside shot at vhlll and so on and so on.

Agree on the game tape point. Which is why our two recent 2014 OL commitments surprised me a bit. They seemed to be more camp performance-oriented.

Get the commitment now and then take a year to figure it out. If the coaches decide they aren't USC recruits, they will stop recruiting them.

Meaning he isn't one of those kids who everyone was talking about as a freshman or sophomore, but blew up prior to his final season. From the sounds of the article, his performance may have been a bit of a surprise to some people. I know that with all the DB names that have been thrown around over the last year, this is the first I recall Kelly being mentioned, so yes, late bloomer....

I read somewhere that he has been playing WR. So maybe a position change for a camp makes all the difference in the world.
