I love what this staff is doing...going for the the great players, smart kids with goals outside of football. In the past, it was very disappointing reading that some of the kids we recruited wanted USC strictly for it's success in sending players to the NFL, focused on the "NFL Factory" reputation and ignoring the great opportunity to attend such a fine academic school.

Kiff bringing in Coach Baxter and his Academic Gameplan was brilliant, while looking toward the future, entry and sustaining eligibility will become more and more difficult ...the rising academics and profile of the university is just going to continue to climb.

U.S. News sends out a questionnaire to the top universities in the country, asking to rank up and coming universities committed to improving academics(fastest rising, etc.), and USC has consistently ranked in the top every year. That is feedback directly from your peers.

It's never been more important to bring in kids that are equally focused on academics as they are in athletics. Fight On!

USC will lose alot of defensive backs after the season. T.J. McDonald, Jawanza Starling, Drew McAllister, Tony Burnett, Isiah Wiley, and Brian Baucham all will leave after the season. Nickell Robey may leave early for the NFL Draft.

Haha..my little brother played sports (baseball and basketball up until HS), and he never let us go to his games...bascially, because fans talk a lot of dumb shit. Outloud and everything.
