I wanted this young man so much...and it's not just about football.
I have so many friends and aquaintences in the clubs and support groups that worry about their children and grandchildren being accepted to USC, many of whom are SCions, and Trojans for generations. A USC degree is priceless, and it's a beautiful thing when a player is an outstanding student that would be accepted because of academic achievement AND athletic talent.
Congratulations Chris, and congratulations to us...welcome to the Family!

Great to hear, Ham. The class would be very good just with the visitors there yesterday. Hope you have twitter bc there were somevery flattering comments about your son after the Nike camp today, even saw comments from RC alums T2 and Randall Telfer. Ou rivals guy said chris had the best tape he has seen this year and Barton gave Chris major props today too. Know we got a good one when only negative is his size, which the weight room can fix. Can't teach speed, quickness, feet, instincts, etc. Here is hoping Chris turns out to be as good of a recruiter as he is a player and student!

Late getting home...and I love the news. I wanted Hawkins to commit since
we started discussing him and my wish has been answered.
