Another Week Gone by, More tOSU Violations

  • BBucksorBeGone8 said...

Come on gang... We are trying hard.... And Gene clarified this morning these are strictly secondary... I have full faith in Gene and Gordon to lead this new charge. We wanna be transparent as possible.. If all schools were this transparent we wouldn't be the only ones in headlines... Join the cause...

You didn't just use the "everyone else is doing it" defense, did you?

    Funny tweet on the matter-

Ohio State AD Gene Smith announces more NCAA violations. Or, as they call it in Columbus, Wednesday.

And when an AD and former COI member makes a recruiting video, it's neither inadvertent nor not intended to provide a recruiting advantage. When the head guy, with Smith's background, is engaging in that type of violation, it's no accident and should be a major violation, not a secondary.

aOSU didn't get half of USC's snactions for a head coach knowingly playing ineligible athletes and lying to the NCAA about it! In fact, the NCAA declared them eligible for a BCS bowl after the scandal broke.

I guess that the winning tactic is to self report everything and bury your egregious stuff under a pile of secondary violations.( After all, the NCAA is notoriously lazy-minded.)

Then, when you get caught with Tressel's hand in the cookie jar, you will get a mere wrist slap as a reward for your "good citizenship"

Don't worry, the NCAA has assigned Paul Dee to investigate.
