It really is pathetic. If there is one bright spot for that sorry squad, it is George Atkinson. Dude is fast, shifty, and instinctive. Their TE is good too but no QBs will be able to get it to him.

95% of us crazies have been saying this since the season ended. From what we saw yesterday I think it's fairly obvious who should be starting. I've said all along BK is safe this year, but if Rees starts all bets are out the window. ND fans will get be all over BK's ass.

Here's the problem. If ND parts ways with Kelly after this season, they will have had 3 head coaches within 5 seasons. That type of instability can be really hard on a program and as a result, may steer away some top recruits and top coaching candidates. For some reason, BK just doesn't seem to fit at ND - sort of like Rich Rod at Michigan.

Losing games also creates instability on a program.
