Serra safety/WR Marqise Lee has established himself as one of the most dynamic athletes on the West Coast and definitely one of the premier defensive backs, but he hadn't shown any interest in USC or UCLA until recently.

USC made its move with hopes of signing Lee by offering him a scholarship yesterday. Multiple sources have confirmed Lee was offered and we were informed he's in the process of setting up an unofficial visit to meet with the USC coaching staff this week.

We were told this past weekend that despite Lee's expressed desire to leave the state for college in past interviews, USC had become the school he wanted an offer from. Sources close to Lee said he and George Farmer IV are extremely close and they want to attend the same school. Farmer touched on how close he and Lee are when we interviewed him on Friday night after Serra defeated Notre Dame 34-7.

"We're like Robert and I, but closer than that," said Farmer about his relationship with Lee.
