Chris, how does SC have two spots? We currently have 16 commits and then Darreus Rogers makes 17. My count shows that we have 18 spots to give out.

This scholarship stuff is complicated so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I got it down.

We all thought SC could take 18 this year because they took 12 initial counter last year (including Rogers)

If you're counting Rogers towards this class, that means that SC took 11 initial counters last year and can take 19 this year

So basically...

If you count Rogers as a 2012 commit, he was in a class of 12, giving USC 3 extra scholarships for this year (18).

If you count him in this class, that means SC took 11 last year. That would give them 4 extra for this year (19)

Silas Redd counts as an initial counter.

My understanding is we took 11 not counting Rogers, but Silas took a 2012 spot. So, that should mean we have 18 spots for NSD. We have 16 commits and then Rogers makes 17.
