USC WRs coach Tee Martin has been instrumental in aiding USC's recruiting efforts in the Southeast
Los Angeles (Calif.) Former Tennessee national-championship winning QB and current USC WRs coach flew back to Knoxville this week to interview format job on Butch Jones's staff, was offered, and was offered a position on his staff yesterday.
Martin, who traveled to Knoxville with his wife and two young kids, spent the night at a hotel in Knoxville Monday night to take time to consider the offer.
FightOn247 learned early this morning from a source at GoVols247 that Martin had turned down the Tennessee offer and will remain at USC.
We're hearing money wasn't an issue in Martin deciding to return to the Trojans, but his wife Toya,, who is an accomplished singer, would like to resume her career after a brief layoff, and believes Los Angeles is the best place to live to fulfil that desire. It's also no secret to those in the L.A. media that both Tee and Tonya enjoy living in southern California.
As soon as we get an official announcement we will publish it.
