USC continues to roll. And by roll, that means steam rolling the recruiting trail in the month of July.
The Mission Viejo (Calif.) four-star is no surprise, but that doesn't change the impact of his commitment.
"I knew I would end up at USC in the end so I just wanted to let the other coaches know," Redfield said. "They are all great coaches and I love the tradition and academics. The collection of talent is un-matched at USC. I knew there was just going to be no other place for me."
Although Ed Orgeron and Kennedy Polamalu will be listed as his primary recruiters for USC, Su'a Cravens made his impact.
"Su'a has been my primary recruiter for USC," he said. "I would list him as one of the biggest reasons I chose USC. I'm excited to play with him and experience college together with a good friend."
The tandem of Redfield and Cravens is absolutely scary for opposing offenses.
Despite the commitment, Redfield said he will still visit Oregon and Washington, possibly this summer. Additionally he said LSU and Cal are likely to get an official visit later this fall.
USC has the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation and has an average recruit ranking of 94.81.
