Scott, what are our chances with this guy? I've heard about/read several articles saying that he may be the surprise on national signing day...especially now that he and Bigelow(sp) have bonded and are constantly communicating about playing together at USC...

Oh sanctions. Why Why? Would love to get this kid but at what cost? No way would I want to lose Vanderdoes. Seems like way to good of a prospect and most likely would go to a Pac 12 team (maybe Oregon). Bigalow wants to play with him so it wouldn't be him and I also wouldn't want to lose this kid. Oh well, I'll leave it up to the coaching staff. They're the masterminds of recruiting. I hope Adams isn't working on Bigalow to go somewhere with him if USC can't find room for him.

I don't think DL is a position where recruits should see another commit as possibly "replacing" them, per se (not scholarship-wise, but playing-wise). The DL has been the group that has rotated the most this season, with many guys getting reps. Now if I was a WR recruit, I'd be a little skeptical about playing time - additional commit or not.

My bad. I may have worded it wrong. My concern is numbers not playing time. We have a full class and that is what my concern was. The coaching staff may have to make room for him and I don't know how or where. That is also why I said they are the masterminds and I'll leave it to them. Trust me I would love for them to pull in all three along with Fitts,Hatcher, and Prevot (I'm drawing a blank on name and spelling. The DE.). Depth and rotation is welcomed.
