Eldridge Massington is back on the market. He broke off his commitment to USC after his early enrollee spot disappeared.
“Lane Kiffin called and said that a couple of guys who didn’t graduate on time,” Massington said. “He said that because of that, they need me to enroll in June. That was just unacceptable to me. I love USC, but I need to find a place to be so I can start rehabbing my knee.”
The Trojans will still be able to take eighteen commits, but they can only have seven early enrollees. That wasn’t acceptable to Massington, so he decided took around. He doesn’t know where to start looking but he has offers from Alabama, Tennessee, and Baylor among others.
“I have to start calling around and see who’s interested.”
247 sports will have further updates from Massington when they develop.
