I don't understand why it takes so long to offer the local kids. It seems like this staff makes it a point to offer the OOS kids first and then the local kids.
Shouldn't it be the other way around? The local kids are the ones that will come hang out on their days off. They will come to all the camps, etc. They are the ones who grew up watching Bush, Leinart, Jarrett, etc. An early offer from SC may push them in SC's corner earlier and most likely produce a good commit.
