Five Players to Watch: Offense

George Farmer

USC has many talented skill players, but none of them were expected to perform the way Farmer was expected to perform

    • Jordan Simmons is the key to the oline.
Simmons, martinez, Tuerk, and Martin should start somewhere. Let the others fight it out for the fifth spot.

Agreed. But Simmons has to lose some weight. That takes dedication and discipline. I hope he gets some of that.

If he does, the line should/could be, from LT to RT:

Tuerk (no question marks here), Walker, Martinez, Martin/Simmons (whoever wins battle), Banner/Simmons (whoever wins battle)

Most importantly, Walker has no business at LT. Keep Tuerk there.

Why does Simmons have to lose weight? I'd rather have our guys at 320 lbs+ so we can run up and down the field all day long.

So Graf (who started last year), won't even be competing for a spot this year? Makes perfect sense to me.

    • I agree, you are all forgetting about Graf who will be a 5th year senior and a returning two year starter. Its hard to take all of your predictions seriously when you are leaving Graf completely out of the mix.
